“Bringing the health and fitness sector together”
The European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA) strive to regularly interact with our members in order to offer the best possible service to the sector. We see it as integral to our work to bring the various stakeholders of the sector together, through a series of annual or bi-annual events.
These events and forums aim to further EHFA’s objectives of representing the fitness sector in Europe. They facilitate discussion and the exchange of ideas and best practices which assist the continued raising of standards in the sector, and help to achieve our goal of “More People, More Active, More Often”.
International Standards Meeting 2012
The 3rd Annual International Standards Meeting (ISM) will be hosted in the lovely Spanish city Barcelona this year - with the support of the Cataluña Government - at the Museum of Sports “MelciorCollet”, an impressive art deco historical building where Juan Antonio Samaranch, former President of the International Olympic Committee, had his personal offices at Barcelona.
The annual International Standards Meeting has already become the most relevant occasion for cooperation in the worldwide fitness sector with an agreed global approach to improve education, recognition and social impact of exercise professionals and the fitness sector worldwide.
